Warehouse Service & Support Technician

Purpose:

Support the manufacturing process in the R&D; API Pilot Plant by assuring that areas are clean and materials/supplies are stocked for production. Complete documentation per current good manufacturing practice guidelines and policies.

Responsibilities:

* Ensures that production areas are clean and maintained to environmental control specifications.
* Operate various types of materials handling equipment required to unload, move and correctly locate materials in warehouse or manufacturing areas.
* Maintain up to date training records reflecting successful completion and follow all procedures to maintain GMP expectations.
* Wear PPE when required to complete assigned tasks.
* Maintain accuracy when completing records, completing SAP transactions and/or interfacing with computer systems.

Qualifications
Qualifications:

* High School Graduate or GED
* Able to read, understand and enter information into records and IT systems all written in English. Basic math competency required, including addition, subtraction, division, multiplication, use of decimals and fractions and ability recognize and measure proportions.
* Must be capable of handling heavy drums and operating/moving equipment in indoor and outdoor environments.
* Must be able to read and follow product warning labels and complete EHS requirements for the job.
* Technical or mechanical background is a desirable.
