JOB SUMMARY:
Allergan is looking for a Senior Product Manager to support the growth of Allergan Aesthetics Skincare internationally. This individual will have the unique opportunity to be a part of building the Allergan Aesthetics Skincare business (SkinMedica, DiamondGlow) globally. This individual will drive upstream international pipeline execution, support downstream go-to-market launch plans and needs for international markets, and support the Product Director, International Skincare, on key strategic initiatives.
The Senior Product Manager will develop strong working relationships with Commercial, R&D;, Operations, Sales, International Strategic Marketing (ISM) and Local Markets to plan, develop and implement marketing initiatives.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Upstream Marketing. Leads pipeline execution from concept to launch including positioning, assortment, formula, packaging, clinicals/claims, and operations in partnership with the cross functional teams. Leverages understanding of local market, consumer needs and insights, and competitive landscape to identify white space opportunities.
Downstream Marketing. Supports local markets on go-to-market/launch needs including communication, education, retail and professional marketing, and E-Commerce. Primary point of contact on key marketing/sales data and asset needs. Shares best practices and learnings.
Acts as a global steward of the brand. Ensure marketing execution alignment to brand guidelines.
Strategic Planning. Support the Product Director on key strategic initiatives for the international skincare business, including strategic plans, new market expansion, and development of an international brand playbook for international markets.
Qualifications
Education and Experience
Bachelors degree, MBA preferred
5+ years of brand management or global marketing experience
New product development experience
International marketing experience desired
Health, beauty or skincare experience desired
