The Oncology Global Market Access & Pricing Pan Venetoclax Launch Lead (Director / Senior Director) is responsible for:
* Developing and implementing the Integrated Access Strategy for Venetoclax across indications (CLL, AML, MM, MCL, MDS, ALL, WM, and additional pipeline indications) inclusive of pricing and reimbursement initiatives, HTA strategies, and policy / advocacy efforts.
* Driving leadership of the Pan Venetoclax Value and Access Team across cross functional partners to ensure implementation of the Integrated Access Strategy and associated tactics. Representing Global Market Access & Pricing at the Pan Venetoclax Asset Strategy team.
* Driving launch execution and excellence across Venetoclax indications to achieve Pan Venetoclax Access Ambtion.
* Ensuring critical clinical and economic evidence requirements (New data cuts, PRO, Economic Models, etc) are delivered in a timely fashion to ensure affiliate P&R; success.
* Building a high performing team to execute on launch of each of Venetoclaxs indications.
Key Responsibilities Include:
* Providing guidance and leadership to direct reports to build strong payer value propositions/stories across Venetoclax indications in addition to providing tools and support to the market access teams in Areas and Affiliates.
* Working closely with Area and affiliate teams in determining appropriate responses/actions to developmental milestone decision points with regards to implications for local pricing and/or reimbursement issues with specific focus on Large Business Units (US, EU5, CA, JP).
* Working closely with the Strategic Pricing Team within Global Market Access & Pricing to track development of competitor pricing. This person will also work with the head of HTA Strategy to understand and monitor the HTA implications for Venetoclax and its competitors across indications.
* Collaboration with other GMAP functions such as Pricing and HTA Strategy as well as GHEOR, Global Business Intelligence, Government Affairs, Global Marketing, Global Commercial Development, Global Medical Affairs and complimentary Area & Affiliate Functions, to ensure solid understanding of global payer markets and emerging stakeholders in the reimbursement area.
* The position requires strong analytical skills, the ability to understand and translate clinical information and messages into payer marketing messages, strong presentation skills and the ability to work well in a cross-functional team.
* This position requires a deep understanding of the clinical aspects and the impact of these clinical results on the value of products, as well as the competitive products in this market space.
* This individual will exemplify AbbVie leadership principles and provide innovative, strategic, and evidence based supported direction as the subject matter expert in reimbursement and market access opportunities and challenges.
* This position is responsible for the budget management, financial compliance, reconciliation and required transparency reporting for any/all market access and pricing projects supporting Venetoclax, including alignment with finance, OEC, legal and commercial support groups.
* The position requires strong analytical skills, the ability to understand and translate clinical information and messages into payer marketing messages, strong presentation skills and the ability to work well in a cross-functional team.

Qualifications
Basic:
* Minimum of 10 years of experience in Pricing and Market Access, ideally at a global, area of or 5LBU country level
* Education: B.A/B. S required ideally in pharmacy, life sciences or economics
* MBA / Masters / Pharm D / Advanced Degree preferred
Requirements:
* Strong clinical and disease area knowledge ideally in Oncology
* Experience in developing and managing market access strategies globally
* Understanding of EU5, CN, AU, US reimbursement systems
* Experience in payer trends, evaluating drivers of market access success
* Knowledge of pricing policy & regulations and healthcare in key markets
* Understanding of regulatory agency requirements or policies that govern market approval, and the impact on reimbursement decisions
* Working knowledge of health economic modeling
* People Management and coaching experience preferred but not required
* Previous experience leading high performing teams including recruiting candidates and hiring, performance management and career development.
