Position Overview

The Sr. Director Program Management is a key leadership position with oversight of the team responsible for planning and execution of strategic initiatives for Ralph Laurens global DTC Digital Technology organization. This role will also be responsible for driving process improvements for managing global and regional cross-functional teams to best deliver complex and strategic programs. This role will be a key leader on the global DTC Digital Technology team and will collaborate to drive an elevated brand and shopping experience in all of the regions and countries where Ralph Lauren operates. This role requires strong leadership, technical depth, communication, and partnership skills. It offers the opportunity to drive our next generation of digital solutions and deliver significant and measurable business and customer impact.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

* Lead a team of Project Managers focused on planning and delivery of global digital technology initiatives that align with strategic priorities and defined timelines.
* Collaborate with internal team partners (e.g., Product, Development, Architecture, Operations) to lead the project management process, resource allocation and planning models to enable focused execution of global strategic program.
* Develop and nurture relationships with global internal stakeholders in support of multiple regions and lines of business. Combine a strong understanding of customer needs with an equally deep understanding of business goals to champion solutions that deliver value.
* Foster, develop & optimize the cross-functional interactions between the Regional Business teams, Global Marketing, Product and the Dev/Ops organizations. Drive efforts to operate effectively & efficiently as it relates to the execution of global brand stories and customer experiences.
* Manage ongoing communication of program status, deliverables and results with partners and cross-functional regional teams, as well as any risks, issues and mitigation plans.
* Communicate with executive level stakeholders and steering committees to ensure visibility and alignment on strategic roadmaps and program delivery success.
* Define and drive program management processes and best practices for continued improvements on an ongoing basis.
* Manage team of Project Managers for career guidance and continued development and growth.

Experience, Skills & Knowledge

* Bachelors Degree required, MBA preferred
* Experience and proven success in managing complex projects
* Experience as a product and/or project manager working on digital consumer-facing applications
* eCommerce experience (Demandware / Salesforce Commerce Cloud preferred)
* Experience as a direct people manager with supervisory accountability
* Experience working in Jira, Confluence and Smartsheet preferred
* Experience working in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies
* Demonstrated leadership working in a complex corporate structure and an ability to influence across departmental boundaries to affect positive change
* Proven track record of successfully launching new product features
* Master of program management attention to detail, create and maintain organized and clear project documents (timelines, requirements, issues lists, etc)
* High level of intellectual curiosity and is comfortable with ambiguity
* Ability to put team before self and be energetically collaborative
* Compelling and effective at communicating with, facilitating and presenting to executive management
