Reporting to the VP of Marketing Analytics, the Marketing Analytics Manager is a key contributor and driver for growing the Marketing Analytics teams omni-channel, cross-business measurement and analytics capabilities.
Responsibilities:
* Measurement and Learning:
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients to define campaign objectives and KPIs, and provide framework to measure success
* Define learning agenda to enable audience, creative, media and site insights which will in turn inform optimization actions and maximize campaign impact
* Testing and Optimization:
* Develop a consistent, structured and scalable rapid-cycle digital test approach that yields actionable information to drive performance. Testing areas span audience targeting, creative / messaging, and digital media channels and tactics
* Tagging and Tracking:
* Craft efficient and effective tagging strategy based on the campaign objective, intended audience journey, media mix, and learning agenda to ensure seamless data flow, which enables proper reporting and insights extraction
* Leverage in depth knowledge around media pixels and site tagging to ensure proper tagging strategy design, implementation, QA and troubleshooting
* Performance Dashboard:
* Own the development of Digital Media performance dashboard on platforms such as Datorama, Tableau, Power BI, etc.
* Collaborate cross-functionally to develop campaign specific performance dashboards to drive optimization discussions, and performance readouts
* Unified Measurement:
* Leverage in-depth understanding of Marketing Mix Modeling to measure the full funnel impact of paid advertising, ranging from Awareness, Favorability, Consideration and Conversion
* Leverage in-depth understanding of Multi-Touch Attribution model to attribute business outcome to meaningful and critical marketing touchpoints
* Apply unified measurement to drive advertising budget conversations, recommend media mix and optimize customer journey touch points
* Storytelling:
* Synthesize and translate in-depth data analytics insights into stories and insights to compel actions and decision making
* Through executive presence and engaging storytelling, influence clients and stakeholders across the organization to adopt insights and execute recommendations
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university.
* 8+ years of marketing measurement and analytics experience.
* Deep understanding of major digital media channels such as programmatic display, SEM, paid social, content distribution, etc.
* A thorough understanding of the advertising analytics ecosystem and evolving landscape and a clear point of view of how to categorize, measure, and analyze disparate data to draw meaningful conclusions and recommendations.
* Firm understanding and experience with data management, including platform integration (segment profiles, leads data, DSPs, DMPs, MRI, CRM). Experience with tag management, test/optimization platforms, web analytics tools, data visualization, analytics/BI tools.
* Strong experience with Adobe Analytics & Google analytics
* Experience in measuring brand campaigns or acquisition campaigns a must, preferably in both. Hands on experience in full funnel campaign measurement is a plus.
* An understanding of the financial services category is a plus, as is experience with third-party intermediaries (B2B) and direct to consumer (B2C).
* A leader who can command presence and build relationships across the organization. Able to clearly articulate complex technologies and concepts to stakeholders.
* Proven ability in building processes and systems within a matrixed organizational structure.
* Ability to organize and mine large sets of data for insights.
Preferred
* Strong working knowledge of statistical analysis and research methodologies.
* Familiarity with statistical software and data manipulation tools such as SAS, SQL, R
