What youll do:
As the Manager, Employee Experience and Onboard you will partner with the Senior Director, Acquisition and Onboard; focusing on developing and growing global awareness for Dow Jones as an employer of choice and ensuring the effective and consistent onboarding of employees to create belonging and inclusion from the point of hire. You will build an onboarding process and framework that focuses on creating an inclusive employee experience, allows for a virtual and high touch experience, engages stakeholders across the enterprise, and allows for a seamless employee and manager experience. You will partner with the People Leadership Team to develop an engaging and attractive employee value proposition, which will include, driving employee advocacy, managing Dow Joness brand on our career site and external channels with the goal of attracting top and diverse talent to Dow Jones.
In this role, your goal will be to enhance the employee full-life cycle ensuring Dow Joness culture is embedded into the experience. You will have proven creative ability and be responsible for cultivating a dynamic and seamless employee experience, managing strategies using data and feedback. You will also serve as a business partner to recruiters and the business areas on employer brand engagement and messaging; implementing ideas across the business to influence behaviours that transform the employee experience at Dow Jones.
Employer Branding
* Work with key stakeholders across the business to craft a compelling employee value proposition and employment brand
* Develop recruitment marketing collateral and campaigns including audio, visual and written
* Collaborate with the Communications team to develop a communications plan to promote our employer value proposition and diversity launch internally and externally
* Facilitate, instruct & guide employer branding workshops for employee resource groups to drive consistency within Dow Jones IRG ecosystem
* Manage Dow Jones submissions for employer awards ( i.e. Working Mother Magazine, etc.)
Experience/Onboarding
* Rebuild a consistent onboarding strategy and framework to ensure an inclusive employee experience
* Partner closely with the recruiters & DEI team to plan and promote recruitment initiatives, including employer branding, diversity and inclusion, university recruiting, partnerships and events
* Manage Dow Jones career site & social platforms (i.e. Glassdoor, LinkedIn, etc.); partner with external stakeholders and vendors to ensure delivery of consistent employer brand messaging and showcase Dow Joness commitment to diversity
* Create a global recruitment narrative for Dow Jones annual diversity report and manage the diversity section on our career site that showcases Dow Jones commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion
Data/Analytics
* Manage weekly/quarterly diversity recruitment dashboard
* Develop and maintain diversity & inclusion recruitment vendor partnerships and sponsorships; track metrics and budget/spend
Who you are:
* Excellent communication skills (oral, written and listening)
* Experience working with cross-functional teams to drive strategies and build relationships
* Ability to understand, organize and present complex information in an easily understandable format tailored to a variety of audiences
* Ability to synthesize data into actionable strategies and tell the story and communicate to stakeholders at all levels
* Proven creative ability in generating new and innovative ideas
* Consistent track record of successfully managing large scale global projects
* Highly motivated and capable of both working independently and with a team
* Knowledge of recruitment marketing trends and interest in customer experience, technology, and innovation
* Strong organizational skills
* Strong decision making and problem solving skills
* Able to handle multiple projects simultaneously with competing resources and deadline
Preferred Qualifications
* 5+ years preferred
* Bachelor's Degree preferred but not required
* Experience in designing and implementing employer brand campaigns within global organization
