SEO Summer Internship
The New York Post is looking for talented SEO Intern for the summer!
The New York Post has been telling stories for over 200 years. Every day, we work relentlessly to uncover and tell the stories you cant resist. Founded as a newspaper, the New York Post has evolved into a national digital brand. Our flagship sites, nypost.com and pagesix.com. Decider.com and all of our digital products and social channels are infused with the flavor and style of the original newspaper, but also purpose-built for the digital age.
Primary responsibilities:
* Perform keyword research to identify content gaps and emerging trends
* Pitch trending stories to editorial teams
* Ideate with SEO team members on projects to grow search traffic
* Assist team in tracking reporting on traffic and rankings
Qualifications:
* Interest in SEO and a passion for digital content strategy
* Ability to work collaboratively and multi-task with an eagerness to learn
* Experience in editorial setting and keen news judgment preferred
* Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
* Familiarity with Google Trends and Google Analytics a plus
