Lockheed Martin is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support our SOF GLSS Program. This program is critical to the success of US service men and women deployed throughout the world. Our mission is to rapidly and properly equip the SOF community and its war fighters with the best possible systems and equipment.

As an Electrical Engineer, you will work as part of an engineering team based in Crestview, FL. The team is focused primarily on modifying existing hardware and integrating components into various C-130 based platforms according to customer specifications. Your job will be to support the production and installation teams and act as a liaison between design engineering and production operations. Examples of some specific tasks include developing alternative wire routing solutions, specifying electrical components to satisfy design requirements, and performing a variety of electrical test procedures. You will need to communicate effectively and regularly with design engineers, manufacturing, program management, and installation crews.
Basic Qualifications:
Ability to create and review various electrical drawing types (wire diagram, termination, cable harness, routing/installation)
Experience with AutoCAD or similar 2D drafting tool
Strong communication and presentation skills, both oral and written
Experience with Microsoft office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Desired Skills:
BS in Electrical Engineering or closely related degree from an accredited university
Familiarity with C-130 or other similar fixed wing or military aircraft
Experience with aircraft wiring and electrical systems
Experience with production, manufacturing, and installation support
Experience working in an aerospace environment with exposure to DoD customers
Familiarity with SAE AS50881 design guidelines
Experience with ANSI/ASME Y14.100 or similar design and drafting standards
Experience with an engineering change process and/or configuration control process
Experience with Catia V5 or other modern 3D parametric modeling program
Experience with Teamcenter or similar PDM/PLM software tool
Familiarity or experience with Radio Frequency (RF) system design and component selection
