Senior Process Engineer
Job Description:
Senior Process Engineer positions offered by Kimberly-Clark Corporation. (Corinth, MS). Provide support and guidance to team members and Process Engineers in high speed web handling, polymer extrusion, adhesive and centerline process and systems. Create strategies for mill process improvements to keep KPIs on target aligned with the true north of the company. Maintain centerline system up to date and provide monthly reports for analysis in Quality meetings. Support Process Engineers and asset leaders with problem solving and troubleshooting of all the assets in the mill. Support new machine startups and re-built projects for the mill and other mills in the sector as well as Roswell researchers. Create and manage DTKs (Documented Technical Knowledge) from other mills in the sector and establish improved standards. Coach, train and mentor team members by performing assessments of the different sections of the assets.
Minimum Requirements:
Requires a bachelors degree or foreign equivalent degree in engineering or a related field and 8 years of experience in the position offered or 8 years of experience working with coordinated line drive systems, web handling, winding tension and wound roll density. Also requires 8 years of experience: working with high-speed manufacturing equipment, installations and machine start-ups; using systems processes, statistical analysis tools and problem-solving systems to identify and resolve machine issues around equipment efficiencies, product quality and operator capability; and performing center-lining to ensure strict machine control. Requires 7 years of experience: mentoring or coaching less experienced process engineers and operations team members; and working with external vendors to achieve desired objectives in Design of experiments and mill trials. Experience may be, but need not be, acquired concurrently.
