Job Description

Position Summary

The Specialist Training Records is primarily responsible for the maintenance of Crewmember and Business Partner training records in the training records system, ensuring that the records are accurate and comply with all JetBlue, Business Partner, and or external regulatory agency requirements as appropriate.

Essential Responsibilities

* Maintains Crewmember and Business Partner records as required for changes to position, location, status, and other core data as necessary in the training records system and supporting systems
* Works with Curriculum Development/Design teams to ensure accurate depiction of training curricula within the training records system and supporting systems
* Maintains training resources including, but not limited to, Courses, Instructors, Rooms, and Devices in the training records system and supporting systems
* Provides reports as requested to support regulatory and business data needs
* Audits training records in the training records system on a regular basis to ensure flawless recordkeeping
* Provides first-tier support and training to users required to interact with the training records system and supporting systems
* Works with external regulatory agencies for training-related certification/qualification processes as required per position
* Suggests process improvements to ensure or increase efficiency in the process of performing all responsible duties
* Creates and maintains documentation of training records processes
* Works on special projects as assigned

Minimum Experience and Qualifications

* High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) Diploma
* One (1) year general data administration and/or record keeping experience
* Proficient with Microsoft Office
* Demonstrated ability to learn software applications
* Demonstrate detail orientation and ability to interface with electronic systems through an onsite, computer-based exercise
* Ability to multi-task under time pressure
* Strong attention to detail
* Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Excellent time management skills
* Must pass a ten (10) year background check and pre-employment drug test
* Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located

Preferred Experience and Qualifications

* Bachelors Degree
* Regulatory or airline experience
* Experience maintaining training or other formal records
* Familiarity with working in electronic record keeping, learning management (LMS), or scheduling systems

Crewmember Expectations:

* Regular attendance and punctuality
* Potential need to work flexible hours and be available to respond on short-notice
* Well groomed and able to maintain a professional appearance
* When working or traveling on JetBlue flights, and if time permits, all capable crewmembers are asked to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft
* Must be an appropriate organizational fit for the JetBlue culture, that is, exhibit the JetBlue values of Safety, Caring, Integrity, Passion and Fun
* Promote JetBlues 1 value of safety as a Safety Ambassador, supporting JetBlues Safety Management System (SMS) components, Safety Policy and behavioral standards
* Identify safety concerns, issues, incidents or hazards that should be reported and report them whenever possible and by any means necessary including JetBlues confidential reporting systems (Aviation Safety Action Program (ASAP) or Safety Action Report(SAR))
