The Finance Transformation Director will be primarily responsible for driving all the finance functional transformation, finance data store implementations, BI roadmap, finance analytics, and the deployment of self-service solutions for all the Honeywell Process Solutions (HPS) lines of business (LOBs).
The Director will be expected to lead a team of direct reports to achieves these objectives noted above and to coordinate the roadmaps and objectives with the other two Finance Transformation leaders within the Performance Materials and Technologies (PMT) segment.
This team and the Director will also own the responsibility of becoming and managing the Analytics COE for all Revenue/Margin matters within PMT.
The Director will report directly to the Sr. Director of PMT Finance Analytics and will have a dotted line to the HPS CFO.
Other Key Responsibilities:
Lead and drive the HPS Global Analytics design, development, and deployment
Continuously prioritize project features and deliverables on behalf of the HPS finance team to maximize project effectiveness and value delivered to the business
Work closely with the PMT Leadership team on the deployment of the analytics strategy for the segment
Partner with Corporate on forecasting, digitization, and automation initiatives in alignment with PMT
Partner closely with the I.T. functions to ensure the project is continuously on track to meet project customer satisfaction and productivity commitments
Provide thought leadership in challenging existing processes and translating those findings into actionable project plans
Evaluate accounting processes and sales to revenue bookings processes to identify opportunities for automation, standardization, and improved cycle time
Works as a peer with LOB CFO, Director of FP&A and Financial decision support leads towards finance goals
Act as a primary integration partner for all data requests to create one source of truth for the organization
Provide direction and leadership by partnering with the Global Finance Centre (Bangalore) to develop standard and automated COE processes
Lead the HPS Finance Operating Model transition
You Must Have
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration
10 plus years of progressive finance and/or accounting experience
5 years of experience in Analytics Project Management or development
3 years of experience managing direct reports

Multinational finance/accounting experience preferred
Strong knowledge of SAP & Oracle finance and accounting modules
Experience creating financial models and reports
Experience developing financial reports and business analytics using BI applications; Business Objects and Tableau experience preferred
Advanced skills in MS Excel and PowerPoint
Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision making, and organization skills
Ability to prioritize work, act independently, draw conclusions, and make decisions with minimal oversight
Demonstrated ability to develop constructive working relationships across organizational or functional boundaries
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to prepare and present complex information to management in a concise, clear manner
Working knowledge of Hyperion reporting systems (Smart View, HFM) a plus
Knowledge of relational database technology a plus
CPA or MBA preferred
