Facebook is looking to expand its existing global team focused on deployments of enterprise network and office technology within the North America Region. A Technical Program Manager will have responsibility to build relationships and processes while ensuring success during planning, design, construction and handover phases of enterprise office builds. A successful candidate will help develop and understand requirements from internal customers and create solutions to improve productivity and services. A candidate must have a technical as well as a project/program management background, be innovative and agile, collaborate well in a team environment, and have very strong communication skills a visionary who challenges the status quo and believes that collaboration technologies can level-up productivity.
Technical Program Manager, RSE Responsibilities
* Oversight across enterprise network implementations for new offices and office expansions within the North America region
* Drive alignment of office network and technology milestones, develop & track budgets, forecasts and actuals per project
* Find new efficiencies and process improvements in existing workflows while anticipating and mitigating potential problems
* Work with design, construction, and operations teams to identify and remedy process gaps and issues
* Analyze problems and devise solutions to roadblocks and unique challenges
* Manage highly cross-functional site infrastructure projects in a matrix organization covering a range of areas (network, infrastructure, logistics, supply chain, compliance, legal)
* Identify operational pain points and opportunities to improve business practices and drive internal process improvements across multiple teams and functions
* Elicit detailed business requirements by engaging the business to capture clear functional design artifacts using techniques like use cases, data diagrams and process flow diagrams
* Provide hands-on program management during analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and post implementation phases
* Perform risk management and change management for projects
* Provide day-to-day coordination and quality assurance for projects and tasks
* Work independently with minimal supervision
* Ability to travel up to 25-40%
Minimum Qualifications
* 2+ years experience in Project or Program Management
* 2+ years experience in integrating network systems into corporate offices
* 2+ years experience in construction project management
Preferred Qualifications
* BS in a technical or business discipline or equivalent experience
* Program Management experience with campus and enterprise networks and hardware & low voltage cabling deployment
* Program Management experience with wireline telecommunications services such as point-to-point, IP transit, and PRI/ERI deployment
