Who You Are

* BA/BS Degree preferred
* Minimum of 5 years of related experience
* ERP experience, SAP preferred
* Experience with web dashboard applications (Cliqview or Tableau)
* Experience using Enterprise or large-scale reporting tools experience (SAP Business Warehouse, Business Objects)
* Planning Systems experience (e.g. JDA, APO, Oracle, Demand Solutions)
* Understanding of fundamental supply chain operational processes including production planning, material purchasing/procurement, inventory management, and distribution
* Excellent critical thinking and analytical skills. Requires connecting detailed understanding to broader system dynamics
* Experience with the development of learning materials and/or with training facilitation a plus
* Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (once travel reinstated)
* Intermediate to advanced level Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook)
What Youll Do
As a Supply Chain Specialist, youll be part of our Global Operations team located in White Marsh, MD. This dynamic operations organization includes our Planning, Procurement, Transportation, Distribution and Manufacturing teams, all focused on helping drive sales growth for a $10B business. Specifically, youll:
* Focus mainly on Manufacturing Systems run-the-business requests with some inputs into process creation and implementation, data analysis and root cause determination, and transformation project management
* Clearly understand and evaluate Manufacturing Business User requests; Facilitate solutions for these requests
* Develop, review, and maintain training materials; Coordinate and facilitate periodic new hire and refresher training
* Effectively work as a liaison between Manufacturing teams and Information Technology
* Initial point of contact for review of process issues and inquiries from Manufacturing plants
* Roll out component inbound deliveries (IBDs) to remaining global GTS plants, including service parts, to enable Control Tower to track inbound material, forecast arrivals, etc. Aggregate, report and track ongoing
* Create alignment in Manufacturing Business System processes with other regions Americas, EMEA-ANZ, APAC
