What you will do

The Fire RSS Manager will have operational oversight over all functions of the Fire RSS operations and maintain operational efficiency, manage all Fire RSS technicians, maintain relationship between Fire RSS and Product Management, manage P&L for Fire RSS team, interface with Simplex training team, represent Fire RSS on projects when applicable and serve as managerial contact for Fire RSS.

How you will do it

* Maintain phone support SLAs through proper resource allocation with support from the RSS Team Leads.
* Plan and develop strategies for continuous improvement
* Be advocate for Fire RSS services within Johnson Controls Fire Domain by promoting Fire RSS
* Ensure asynchronous work channels are worked and all issues are addressed.
* Provide management with performance updates and work volume forecasts along with resource needs
* Provide direct management to all Fire RSS technicians and set standards of performance.
* Coach and mentor team members
* Provide Team Member with statistical feedback.
* Conduct quarterly meetings with Fire RSS technicians.
* Maintain a relationship with all Simplex Product Managers and participate in new product launch calls as the Fire RSS representative.
* Identify training needs and support the coordination and implementation of training.
* Initiate, contribute and spearhead projects as they develop and/or assigned
* Field issues that have been escalated and take appropriate action to resolve issues.

What we look for

* 5 years minimum experience with Simplex/Johnson Controls Fire domain operations.
* 3 years minimum experience managing a team
* Proficient understanding of Simplex product line
* Strong customer focus
* Strong interpersonal skill
* Ability to perform multi-tasks
* Strong coaching and development skills
* Ability to exercise sound, independent judgment
* Effective communication skills, both oral and written
* Effective leadership skills ability to lead by example
* Ability to interpret and analyze data to effectively implement strategic plans
* Creative/solution oriented
* Must have the ability to perform and provide results in a fast-paced environment
