What you will be doingu00A0
Worldpay from FIS utilizes financial crime, risk and compliance services to identify potentially fraudulent activity or regulatory compliance breaches across the payment products it offers to customers.
The Application Support Engineer will work as part of a team supporting the suite of fraud systems used within Worldpay and predominantly supporting Nice Actimize. This role requires the engineer to work as part of a team to maintain high standards of service to strict SLAu2019s and where required to progress resolution of production incidents.
* Troubleshooting & investigation of production system problems of services where stability, reputation management & security are critical to the businessu2019 ongoing success
* Provide 24/7 out of hours on-call support on a rota basis, or embrace the possibility of shift working patterns to cover extended service support hours
* Coordination and implementation of essential production maintenance tasks
* Statistic gathering following production events
* Regular reviews of the incident management queues
* Mentoring and training of support engineers as required
* Define, develop and maintain documentation knowledgebase
* Proactively identify improvements and enhancements to working practices
* Compliance with incident resolution best practice
* Implement automation of manual tasks wherever possible
* Collaborate with other internal teams to transform business requirements into technical solutions.
* Deploy new features into production under Change Control and subject to defined service maintenance windows
* Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors.
* Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
* Networks with senior internal and external personnel in own area of expertise.
* Direct interaction with End Users to address issues in a timely manner.
* Ability to interact with other team members to broaden skill set.
* Maintain key relationships with peer teams within Technology (Storage, Middleware, DBA, Server Platform, Enterprise Management, Technical Service Support Teams, Networks), plus additional teams such as Big Data Analytics, Enterprise Data Warehouse and Worldpay Actimize Development teams
What you bring:u00A0
* Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 3 years and a Master's degree; or a PhD without experience; or equivalent work experience.
* Implementation experience in Nice Actimize AML modules (WLF, CDD) and ERCM in Actimize.
* Should also have experience using Actimize Visual Modeller to build new models.
* Prior experience with helping the clients set up new models/scenarios for AML modules in Actimize.
* Actimize RCM configuration: setting up roles, workflows, users, views using RCM Designer.
* Experience with installing RCM and Web Applications from an infrastructure perspective.
* Experience with the RCM database schema.
* Experience with MS SQL.
* Experience with setting up external integrations to Actimize.
* Previous End User support of Actimize.
* Experience in deployment of application software releases into the production environment
* Experienced in promoting software releases through the test environments into production
* Experienced Windows Server administrator for Application Support purposes
* Familiarity with SQL Server 2016
* Experience using memory dumps to help diagnose and identify application issues
* The ability to write SQL queries comfortably
* High level knowledge of Networks & Firewalls
* Experience in an environment with a high level of focus on disaster recovery and business continuity
* Apache / Tomcat v8.5
* Object oriented design development languages
* Documentation and diagramming of technical solutions
* Understanding of Client/Server topology
