Overview:
Tech Data is launching a new program with the Cyber Range in Tempe, AZ . A cyber range is a place for our partners and end-users to learn cyber security skills through a hands-on experience. The Cyber Range Engineer position will be responsible for the maintaining the Datacenter equipment that operates the Cyber Range, teaching cyber security training classes for customers, hosting technology events in the Range and performing security demos of our vendor's technology.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities Required:
• Host Cyber Range events for partners, vendors or the public (20%)
• Be available to assist walk-ins during the day and instruct them on how to use the Cyber Range (30%)
• Install/Upgrade/Maintain security, network and server equipment in data center (20%)
• Perform demos of security solutions provided by Tech Data vendors (20%)
• Teach security training courses offered through the Range online or on-premise (10%)
Other Duties & Responsibilities:

Qualifications:
Experience:
• 5 to 8 Years of relevant work experience.
Education & Certifications:
• Bachelor's Degree with Cyber Security or Computer Science Field of Study preferred.
• Associate Degree with Technology related field of study required.
• Other Education / Certifications: Security+ or CISSP preferred. Former Gov't Clearance preferred. Project management experience preferred.
