What will you do?
* On-site development and maintenance of engineered labor standards utilizing Maynard Operational Sequence Technique (MOST) and Standards PRO.
* Create and maintain process flow charts for related to functional labor optimization within the network.
* Act as the Liaison between operational teams regarding labor management system (LMS) issues and concerns. Develop and lead training sessions to support LMS initiatives
* Evaluation and maintenance of written SOP2019s and work instructions for distribution functional labor processes and other operations as determined.
* Operational labor improvement initiatives in the supply chain utilizing industrial engineering methods, including Lean principles and Practical Process Improvement.
* Support engineering initiatives through data analysis of operational metrics.
* Perform data analysis utilizing simulation and relational database tools
* Maintain and update As Built CAD building drawings and file repositories.
* Certification as Practical Process Improvement process manager
* Determine inventory profile to optimize storage and picking labor
* Perform other duties as assigned.
How will you get here?
Education:
* Bachelor2019s Degree from an accredited 4-year university in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management or Business Logistics or related field is required.
Experience
* 0-2+ years of experience in Distribution/Logistics or equivalent combination of education and experience or related Supply Chain co-op or internship.
* Demonstrated application of traditional Industrial Engineering methods.
* Proven project and time management skills.
* Ability to travel up to 50% is a Requirement.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
* Excellent skills with MS Excel, MS Access, MS Visio, and MS PowerPoint.
* Demonstrated application of traditional Industrial Engineering methods in MOST, Standards PRO, SQL, WMS, AutoCAD, Simulation Software (SIMUL8)
* Ability to work on and complete projects individually and as a member of a team.
* Able to communicate effectively at all levels from distribution hourly workers to upper level management.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills proficient in Outlook.
