How will you make an impact?
As a Manufacturing Operator 2013 Team Lead 2013 Expediting, you will be responsible for the planning, collaboration, and execution of work in process creation and staging for all value streams. You will carry out the process by closely following the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), and Work Instruction Documents. This position requires following Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and ability to work in a fast- paced team environment.
What will you do?
* Drive a culture of safety and quality in all activities
* Review and monitor production schedules to prioritize utilization of labor and assets.
* Coordinate with value stream leaders to prioritize and flex distribution of materials
* Escalate issues affecting material availability with production management
* Execute daily forecasts for parts locations and coordinate movements as necessary
* Review and process cycle counts in the ERP system
* Oversee the team training of all pertinent WIDs and SOPs
* Process unscheduled parts requests for issuing
* Record and complete accurate documentation according to GMP requirements
* Drive a Lean Practical Process Improvement (PPI) culture
How will you get here?
Education:
* High School Diploma or GED
Experience
* Previous expediting or material handling experience highly preferred
* Current or previous leadership highly preferred
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
* Ability to lead a team in a fast-paced environment
* Good verbal/written communication skills
* Ability to perform repetitive work duties
* Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures
Physical and Environmental Requirements:
* Work in a cleanroom which is a controlled environment for temperature and humidity having low ambient noise
* Work in a fast -paced controlled cleanroom environment 8 hours a day with additional overtime as required for production schedule adherence
* Must be able to wear gowning which includes gloves, hair & beard net and face cover, safety glasses with no makeup / jewelry, and the like
* Utilize Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and understand chemical hygiene
* Infrequently lift and manipulate up to 50 pounds max unassisted
* Stand and move about including reaching, bending, stooping, grasping
* Use hand tools and equipment including forceful gripping, grasping, pushing and pulling
