Position Summary
Management of the ABM parking operation at the Lihue International Airport by supervising cashiers and maintenance staff. Client interaction with HI State Airport management.
Job Duties
Answering incoming calls and greeting parkers.
Lead trainer for all cashiers and maintenance.
Retain custody of the petty cash fund. Ensure proper denominations so change can be made for cashiers.
Assisting with handling or referring customer complaints and problems to ensure customer satisfaction.
Use of change fund to make change for cashiers.
Skim cashier banks periodically during shift.
Open and operate booth 1 when there is a long line of vehicles exiting parking lots and garages.
Assist cashiers when they have problems with customers and/or equipment.
Operate monthly walkup window.
Verify cashier shift reports, balance to register and credit card tape, and verify cash drops.
Monitor work progress and of maintenance and inventory staff.
Conduct maintenance inspections.
Assist Operations Manager with special projects and assignments; assist with administrative responsibilities not specific to those listed above.
Essential Duties
May be requested to ensure productive operations, quality service, client and customer satisfaction; in addition to parking attendant and garage maintenance functions.
Minimum Requirements
High School Diploma or GED required.
Good verbal and written English communication skills.
Excellent basic math skills, attention to detail and good organizational skills
Professional phone demeanor
Flexibility to work additional days/shifts as needed.
Mechanically inclined is a plus.
