Corporate Risk helps all Wells Fargo businesses identify and manage risk. The team focuses on several key risk types, including conduct, credit, financial crimes, information security, interest rate, liquidity, market, model, operational, regulatory compliance, reputation, strategic, and technology risk. The group provides leadership, enhances communications, assists with problem identification and solutions, and shares best practices. In addition, the group provides an enterprise-wide view of risk, assists management and our Board of Directors in identifying and monitoring risks that may affect multiple lines of business, and takes appropriate action when business activities exceed the risk tolerance of the company.

The Enterprise Customer Excellence (ECE) Program Support Compliance Officer is responsible providing compliance program support for the ECE Compliance team covering Customer Remediation, Enterprise Complaints Management Office (ECMO) and Conduct Management. The Program Support Compliance Officer oversees and partners with the business/first line to ensure that compliance program elements are implemented and sustainable, and program deliverables are executed accurately and timely consistent with FRB commitments.

Specific activities include:

* Monitoring of ECE activities to identify and assess compliance risk
* Supporting annual Compliance Program deliverables including risk identification and assessment, learning needs analysis, assessment of compliance program effectiveness, etc.
* Oversight of compliance program policy requirements including managing regulatory change, assessing impacts to controls, managing/escalating issues and developing corrective actions; reviewing policies and procedures
* Supporting implementation of the Risk and Control Self-Assessment program and the Internal Control Program
* Oversight and review of third party engagements for the ECE
* Providing Compliance support and guidance on ECE projects and initiatives

Required Qualifications
* 7+ years of experience in risk management (includes compliance, financial crimes, operational risk, audit, legal, credit risk, market risk, IT systems security, business process management) or 7+ years of financial services industry experience, of which 5+ years must include direct experience in risk management

Desired Qualifications
* Ability to communicate effectively, in both written and verbal formats, with senior executive-level leaders
* Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy

Other Desired Qualifications
* Experience managing compliance-driven initiatives and / or processes which require close partnership with business, risk, and / or audit functions
* Ability to apply critical thinking, draw conclusions, apply independent judgement, exercise credible challenge and make fact-based decisions
* Ability to identify situations which need to be escalated for guidance and resolution
* Knowledge and understanding of compliance practices and methodologies, including risk assessment, monitoring and testing activities, regulatory change
* Effectiveness in driving successful execution of plans; ability to plan, prioritize, and set goals
* Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong credible relationships with key stakeholder groups including management, regulators, front line businesses, and enterprise functions
* Ability to work in a dynamic environment, and adjust to changing priorities
