Tyson Foods is hiring a Sr. Business Analyst position to serve as the liaison between the business community and IT organization to provide technical solutions that meet business needs. The primary focus is building partnerships with businesses and acting as a trusted advisor for business/IT strategy development and alignment, solution discovery, risk management and relationship management.

Do I have the skills?

Looking for a Business Analyst with experience gathering business requirements and translating those to tech needs, building relationships with business partners and helping the business understand capabilities available through technology.

REQUIREMENTS:

* Education: Requires a Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Information Systems or an equivalent degree with experience equating to a Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Information Systems.

* Experience: 4 plus years of experience in IT and/or applicable business function, some of it in a similar role with demonstrated relationship building skills resulting in traceable, measureable, impactful results.
Computer Skills: Must be proficient in O365, Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, SharePoint. Basic knowledge of JIRA, HP Quality Center and Remedy is a plus.

* Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate both written and verbally with customers, peers, and management required. Strong interpersonal and customer service skills required. Must be able to work cooperatively and effectively in a team environment.

* Special Skills: Basic understanding of various System Development Lifecycle Methodologies (e.g. Agile, Waterfall, etc.)

* Supervisory: No

* Travel: Some travel may be required. Amount of travel will be determined by individual project requirements
