JOB SUMMARY
The Contracts Analyst works in coordination with the Attorneys and Contract Managers to prepare reports and draft, review and negotiate contracts. Additionally, the Contracts Analyst provides support and backup to the Contract Management System gatekeeper.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

* Prepare and generate all reports for analysis within the contract data base
* Draft, review and negotiate assigned contracts, amendments and notices
* Assure accuracy and appropriateness of contract terms and provisions
* Work inside the Contract management system and provide support and backup to Contract Management System gatekeeper in facilitating the contract workflow

* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills as well as interpersonal skills
* Skilled at Microsoft Office, including a proficiency in Excel formulas, functions and pivot tables.

* Proven ability to work independently and to work collaboratively on teams, to proactively take the initiative required to resolve issues, and to perform multiple tasks simultaneously

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
Include minimum education, technical training, and/or experience preferred to perform the job.
* Bachelors degree (preference for Business or Healthcare Administration)
* Experience in preparing, and analyzing reports from large database
* Some experience in contract development, review, analysis and negotiation
* Minimum of 5 years of relevant business experience
* Candidate has experience working with attorneys to negotiate contract terms
* Experience in the healthcare industry preferred but not required
