You:
* Have a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design from an accredited college
* Have 5-7 years of graphic design experience in an advertising agency, marketing/PR firm or in-house agency
* Have an entrepreneurial mindset and are willing to break new ground with big ideas
* Are passionate about human-centered problem solving and tirelessly seek to discover what users really need
* Can clearly and convincingly explain your decisions and perspective
* Are expert in the Adobe Creative Suite, have an understanding of graphic/web design principles and current web technologies (HTML, CSS) and presentation design (PowerPoint)
* Are a strong communicator and have the ability to prioritize and manage work while adhering to critical timelines
* Have experience collaborating with photo, video, web and print teams; experience and/or exposure to creative directing photo and video shoots a plus
* Are able to own a project from start to finish, working autonomously, but welcoming feedback and collaboration
* Able to present experience through a strong, award-winning portfolio
* Are confident in your skill-sets but are flexible in exploring new and creative ways to solve problems
What you'll do:
* Work with the Design Lead and Corporate Communication specialists to transform concepts into visual executions that articulate the Georgia Power brand and deliver on business objectives
* Design an array of digital and print assets including advertising campaigns, web and email assets, banner ads, direct mail, signage, presentations, environmental graphics and other print and digital media as assigned
* Own projects from kickoff through completion, presenting your work to the Creative Lead, and Corporate Communication and Marketing stakeholders; incorporating relevant feedback into final assets to create amazing results
* Be a brand ambassador and adherent of brand integrity across all channels and assets
* Ensure that all projects are delivered in our distinct brand voice and in a timely manner
* Happily vow to make an effort to share creative thinking and enrich our culture with every opportunity
* Curiously seek to understand new industry technologies, trends, tools and best practices
* Serve as an active participant in department crisis communications preparations and activities (storms, emergencies, etc)
* Participate in Corporate Communication department meetings and serve on work teams as requested.

From the day it opened as an eight-bed clinic in 1925, Southern California Hospital at Culver City (SCH-CC) has dedicated itself to providing quality care to the culturally diverse populations of the Culver City and West Los Angeles communities. SCH-CC is part of the Southern California Healthcare System, which includes Southern California Hospital at Hollywood and Southern California Hospital at Van Nuys. With a combined bed capacity of over 570 beds, the three-hospital system represents the fourth-largest combined facility in the greater Los Angeles region.
Now at 420 beds, SCH-CC is a general acute care hospital that utilizes many of the latest medical treatments and technologies. The hospital offers a wide range of inpatient and outpatient acute care services, including an orthopedic center, cardiovascular services, acute rehabilitation, sub-acute care, psychiatric care and chemical dependency programs. Additionally, SCH-CC operates a 24-hour emergency services center, which serves as a paramedic receiving station and is staffed by board-certified emergency physicians and nurse specialists.
