Financial Analyst
Job Summary:
The Financial Analyst reporting to the Finance Manager will be responsible for developing and maintaining reporting/analytics for both internal and external stakeholders. This position interacts directly with account teams and customers to provide data-driven insights into profitability and contract adherence. The Financial Analyst also supports various internal FP&A activities. Key responsibilities will include financial reporting, forecasting, process improvement, KPI tracking, data analysis, and presenting analysis to account teams. Must be highly organized with strong analytical and communication skills.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Responsible for working with account teams to build customer facing analytics, drive contract adherence / performance, track variances to plan, track key internal and customer metrics, and proactively provide on-going analysis
* Responsible for FP&A tasks including month-end journal entries, variance analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and communicating business performance to account management and finance leadership
* Expected to help drive improvements of existing processes and reports as it relates both to external customer support, internal account team support, and internal FP&A. Also responsible for developing new processes and reports as needed
* Perform Financial Audits of existing and new accounts to insure compliance
* Lead role in development of annual plan and monthly forecast projections for select accounts
* Responsible for further enhancing current tracking reports and working with IT to implement new BI tools where needed across the enterprise (Tableau Experience Preferred)
* Work with Finance Team to standardize daily, weekly, monthly financial reporting and communication of results
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Finance or related field
Qualifications:
* 1 - 2 Years in Finance or Business Operations preferred
* Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel with working knowledge of pivot tables, V-lookups, functions and data management. Various Business Intelligence system experience is preferred
* Highly skilled at analyzing, interpreting, and using data to collaborate, identify best practices and areas for improvement, and drive results.
