Payment Strategy Lead
This position will act as a liaison with payments business partners, operations and technology and is responsible for ensuring that all enterprise payments opportunities align to the Enterprise Payments Strategy and are properly prioritized, managed and executed.

Strong and effective analytical and problem-solving skills, technical aptitude, command skills and the ability to lead project teams. Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with employees and management at all levels in both verbal and written communication formats.

Position Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning

* Proactively identify opportunities and provide strategic planning services to internal business units.
* Support and/or facilitate strategic sessions involving the development of business objectives, product/business roadmap discussions, aligning business vision with division or enterprise strategies, aligning cross division business needs with enterprise solutions (e.g. synthesize payments product roadmaps with payment operations roadmaps).
* Work with business managers and senior managers to ensure alignment with client requirements and industry trends during roadmap development.
* Lead Payment Advisory Group initiatives for the Enterprise Payments Council.

Industry Engagement

* Utilize payments industry media outlets, key suppliers and select subscriptions to ensure awareness and engagement in key payments industry related topics.
* Identify and communicate emerging trends in payments and assess the potential impact of this information to Comerica
* Coordinate, consolidate and communicate key payments industry topics with internal payments stakeholders (e.g. Federal Reserve requests for comment on strategic initiatives).
* Manage the Enterprise Payments Library/Payments Dashboard and ensure appropriate distribution of relevant payments related information across the organization.

Business Enablement

* Provide direct project management of project/program management to ensure key strategic initiatives are executed in a timely and effective manner.
* Identify and recommend key strategic initiatives/investments that will grow Comerica's payments business.
* Support the collection and dissemination of transaction to portfolio review process for the Payments Services Due Diligence Committee.
* Analyze and enhance the Payment Systems Financial Model as an enterprise-wide tool for assessing current payment product performance and modeling future scenarios.

Position Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree OR minimum of 10 years of relevant banking/payments experience
* 8 years Relevant work experience
* 8 years Project Management experience
* 8 years Data analysis and spreadsheet software experience
* 5 years Product Management experience
* 5 years Client Relationship Management experience
