JOB SUMMARY
Seeking a highly self-motivated, seasoned and technical proposal writer to join our top-performing national business development team. This role will work directly with CBREs Advisory & Transaction Services Team (A&T) driving growth for the company by helping craft custom solutions for office, retail and industrial real estate clients. This position will be responsible for developing unique narratives to support business development activity for client proposals and presentations. This role will gather, write and curate content to convey win strategies, team differentiators and ultimately sell our suite of real estate services.
Working closely with BD Marketing, Leadership, and Client Solutions teams, this position will also coordinate with functional experts in operations, technology, marketing, and legal in the preparation of complex client proposals and presentation submissions. This high-visibility position calls for a confident marketing and business development professional with excellent strategic-thinking, writing, project management, analytical, and collaboration skills. The preferred candidate is self-directed and will have experience in a deadline driven environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Able to understand complex occupier real estate win strategies and solutions to the extent necessary to write and develop the written response.
Supports Business Development (BD) team members and BD leaders throughout firm with specific writing requests.
Responsible for written content including, but not limited to case studies, executive summaries, professional profiles and marketing copy
Provides quality control and copy edits for all marketing deliverables.
Interviews proposed personnel, project managers, and other corporate staff to elicit the data required to generate non-technical content.
Works with Knowledge Manager to organize proposal repository, templates and tools as required in a SharePoint library. Improves pursuit content and contributes to teams toolkits.
Participates in proposal strategy sessions, readiness reviews, kickoff meetings, and daily stand-ups.
Clearly communicates all assignments, conducts appropriate follow ups.
Owns bid-specific compliance documents including RFP (proposals), presentations and brochures.
Coordinates with graphic design team in developing unique design approaches utilizing the clients branding and tone of voice.
Works within Adobe Suite (InDesign, Photoshop), PowerPoint and Word to create and design marketing and presentation materials.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
No formal supervisory of people, however, serves as lead on business development projects, coordinating all tasks, content and ensuring deadlines are met. May coordinate and assign tasks to co-workers within business unit and/or project.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree or equivalent from four-year and a minimum of four to six years of related experience and/or training.
Commercial Real Estate, Marketing and Corporate Communication background a plus.
Experience with proposal writing for Real Estate, Architecture or Engineering a plus.
Intellectual capacity to absorb and translate broad concepts and ideas into clear and logical communications.
Strong organizational and analytical skills.
Strong ability to write clearly, concisely, and effectively.
Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to internal clients.
Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret documents and data sets.
