Aligned Investors is seeking a Portfolio Specialist to join its growing team. The positionu2019s responsibilities include representing and positioning Alignedu2019s fundamental investment capabilities with clients, intermediaries, and distribution partners. The position will support all aspects of business development and client communication for Aligned strategies.

This will include:

* Coordination with sales, marketing, client service and product management teams to drive growth in the Aligned business. n
* Direct client interaction, both virtually and in person, in conjunction with the established distribution and relationship management teams. n
* Partnering with marketing to develop effective thought capital and other materials to represent the teamu2019s capabilities and performance. n
* Oversight of the accuracy and quality of marketing materials, databases, requests for proposal, due diligence questionnaires, and portfolio reporting and analytics. n
* Interaction with portfolio managers and analysts to develop deep knowledge of the portfolio and its individual investments. nn

Qualificationsnn
* Bacheloru2019s degree, preferably in finance, business, economics, or marketingn
* Five or more years of experience in the investment management industry, with direct investment, product, or sales experiencen
* CFA designation (or progress towards) strongly preferredn
* Broad investment management and financial market knowledge, ideally with expertise in equity productsn
* Must be an excellent communicator and presenter, both orally and written, with vision to create and maintain a compelling story for the Aligned strategiesn
* A desire to interact frequently with distribution teams, improving their product knowledge and supporting sales effortsn
* Proficient analytical and technical ability in Excel, PowerPoint and FactSetn
* Willingness to frequently travel; this role may require as much as 50% of time spent traveling for businessnn
