Description:
2nd shift job opening, current work week of Wednesday thru Saturday with a current start time 4:15PM
* Current work hours: 4:15PM-2:45AM Shift (note: Start time may change)

* Train to qualify/operate Both bottle fillers and related equipment
* Performing online quality checks (torque, TOA, weight, coding, vent tube inspection)
* Ensuring PQI coding requirements
* Tracking productivity and downtime results accurately
* Be able to perform package and flavor changeovers
* Entering production, downtime, and related paper work in an electronic form, PTS
* Housekeeping and related paperwork (filler area and closure area)
* Adapt to new technologies as they come into the department
* Follow all food safety programs: Oprp's (missing vent tube inspection), GMP Policy, Master Sanitation Program, Safety guard, Product Hold Procedure and all others that apply
* Train to perform all lock out tag out on fillers
* Involvement in TPM/drum beat teams
* Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
Physical abilities to meet job responsibilities (standing for extended periods, lifting cap boxes)
* Basic math skills
* Basic Computer skills
* Assist and understand package and flavor change overs and be able to start early or work late.
* A successful bidder must perform bid job as described in the job description and pass qualification within 30 days of starting job.
* Ability to lift up to 50's
* Understand operation of both fillers and basic trouble shooting

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
* 18 years or older
* High School Diploma or GED
* Must submit to a drug screen
* Pass the background check

HELPFUL EXPERIENCE:
* Experience with high speed production lines (e.g., high output, high performance equipment, fast paced production environment, etc.)
* Experience with pallets (e.g., operating a forklift, stacking/bundling product, etc.)
* Experience operating a packing machine (e.g., stacking, bundling, and wrapping product, etc.)
* Experience operating a filler machine (e.g., ensuring right mix of product, operating production computer, etc.)
* Experience operating a palletizer (e.g., building pallets, managing product changeovers, etc.)
* Experience reading blueprints (e.g., read schematics on a machine, understanding production product flow, etc.)
* Experience reading schedules (e.g., products being produced, understanding production requirements, production planning, managing changeovers, etc.)
* Experience with computers in a manufacturing setting (e.g., electronic settings, line speed, pressures, basic troubleshooting, solving for faults/alarms and resetting equipment, etc.)
* Experience with sanitization (e.g., basic procedures/steps, GOOD MANUFACTURING PRACTICES in a food plant, identifying risks)
* Experience with minor mechanical repairs (e.g., jams, using tools, making basic adjustments to equipment, etc.)
* Experience with preventative maintenance (e.g., inspecting and maintaining equipment, detecting and correcting issues before they occur, etc.)
