WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Were looking for an outstanding Design Apprentice to support the North America Apparel team in crafting and maintaining all technical product schematics from concept to completion. This hybrid role will also be responsible for managing all creative submissions with the Nike Legal and Trademark teams. The ideal candidate will excel in a fast -paced environment, have strong written and verbal communication skills, be exceptionally organized and have a positive attitude. In addition, the Design Apprentice should have a foundational understanding of apparel construction, graphic applications and tech pack creation.
WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?
If this is you, you will be working alongside the Associate Designer and Operations Lead to create graphic schematics across Mens, Womens and Kids apparel on a season-to-season basis. This role will focus on the accurate communication of all technical graphic content including scale, color, placement and application, as well as applicable trims and prints. The Design Apprentice will work closely with the Design team to understand and translate creative intent and will work cross functionally with the Development team to prepare schematics for specific vendors. The ideal candidate will also act as a Legal Liaison, submitting seasonal graphics to the Nike Legal and Trademark team and communicating all feedback to the Design and Development teams with recommendations and guidance when necessary.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING?
Education
* Bachelors degree in graphic design, art or a related field; fashion design, product design, apparel or accessory design, material design or textile design.
Experience:
* 1+ year(s) of experience in design, apparel or design-related industry involving product creation.
Skills/Requirements:
* Exceptional organization, communication and time management skills.
* Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong problem-solving skills; flexibility and tolerance for ambiguity.
* Demonstrated proficiency in Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign, 3D rendering a plus
