Job Description

The AT PMO Project Manager is responsible to partner with the Engineering Project Manager for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, resource planning, risk management, execution, control and completion of specific projects they are assigned to ensure consistency with department commitments and goals.

In this role, you will partner with Engineering to manage the programmatic taks for assigned programs. You will work with Engineering Project Leads, Product Management, and Build Coordinators to introduce new products through the entire build cycle.

Your main tasks will be to:

* Develop, monitor and drive detailed project plans that support the build release schedules to deliver on on-time, within scope and within budget. Coordinate resources for the flawless execution of assigned projects

* Define project tasks and resource requirements and ensure resource availability and allocation.

* Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders ensuring feasibility.

* Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.

* Track deliverables and measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques. Constantly monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders.

* Perform risk management to minimize project risks

* Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation

* Collaboratively manage project budget with Engineering PM

* Provide support to project team

Specific Knowledge/Skills

* Ability to collaborate, and influence to drive results by working with teams who you do not have direct reporting relationships.

* Able to drive & lead meetings independently, ability to create projects plans using project scheduling tools.

* Very strong team player, should possess ability to foster teamwork and positive working environment to the project team in light of changes and challenges.

* Strong analytic skills. Ability to perceive and analyze problems, develop alternatives, take action, and recommend sound decisions.

* Ability to ask penetrating questions, detect unstated assumptions and resolve conflicts.

* Strong presentation and communication skills through internal management, senior management and customer interactions

* Attention to details, and strong follow-through to drive actions/issues and Risks using a documented action/issue tracker and risk log..

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills

* Stress tolerant.

* Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.

* Ability to work independently to drive execution of projects.

Strong collaboration & active listening skills. Ability to coach teams to resolve conflict, remove impediments, and meet output targets.

* Experience in manufacturing, product development, or release management helpful.

* Proven working experience in project management in a technology environment.

* Proven ability to demonstrate strong project management skills.

* Proven ability to demonstrate use of project management tools and scheduling techniques.

* PMP Certification, or the ability to obtain preferred
