As a CAD Engineer Intern at Micron, you will be working in a fast paced, collaborative, production support role evaluating, developing, improving and debugging both in-house and commercial EDA tools and flows for the design, physical layout, and verification of CMOS integrated circuits!

Responsibilities and Tasks:

* Develop tools, flows, and methodologies to increase the productivity and reliability of our DRAM designs.
* Provide training, documentation, and support to end users on new tools and methods.
* Work closely with design and process and other CAD teams.

Qualifications

* Coursework in CMOS circuit and deep submicron physical design is preferred
* Excellent programming fundamentals
* Experience with Unix and shell scripting is required
* Experience in C, C++, JAVA, Visual Basic, Perl, Lisp, or Python.
* Experience with some or all of the following areas is helpful: Verilog, Spice/Fast Spice, SPF extraction.
* Good communication and problem solving skills are required
* Relevant internship experience is a plus

Education

* A Junior or Senior working towards a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering
* Must have continued coursework during the fall 2021 term (i.e. graduate date cannot be before September 1, 2021)
