Customer Account Specialist, Inside Sales

Job Description

We are currently seeking a Customer Account Specialist to work 9:30am - 6:30pm Monday through Friday to establish a responsive dialogue with customers which conveys a working knowledge of MPB offerings. Screen calls through tactful, relevant, focused questioning to sell products and services, resolve inquiries, and to take orders. Place Proactive calls with customers regarding Sales Leakage, Sales Opportunities, Product Information, McKesson Service Offerings and other miscellaneous outreach.

Responsible for interfacing with customers prior to and/or after a sale. Develops and maintains positive customer relations and coordinates with various functions within the company to ensure customer requests are handled appropriately and in a timely manner. This position has authority to substantially affect the relationship between the company and a customer, either from a financial standpoint, product standpoint, and customer experience standpoint. Pre-sale: Analysis of customer inquiries to determine appropriate product literature; influencing shipping schedules; recognizing new business opportunities.

Minimum Qualifications

* 0 - 2 years of relevant experience

Critical Skills

* Minimum of 2 years Inside Sales/Customer Support experience or comparable Pharmaceutical Distribution industry experience
* Strong PC proficiency in MS Office and Outlook
* Ability to learn challenging and growing product portfolio
* Excellent communication skills
* High sense of urgency (working with critical life saving drugs and tight time frames)
* Strong organizational skills required
* Multi-tasking
* Closing the loop

Additional Skills

* 4 year degree preferred
* SAP experience a plus
* Working knowledge of plasma and specialty products desired
