Essential Functions:
* Shall be able to work independently under general guidance from engineering to test and troubleshoot
* Works with development engineers to support and recommend resolutions
* Make decisions based on analysis of data
* Understands and applies applicable engineering processes
* Develops plans and schedules for short-term work activities
* Interfaces with engineering teams and elevates significant problems to appropriate management
* Responsible for performing the integration and/or test of all components, ensuring electrical and physical compatibility to meet program technical, schedule and cost objectives
* In support of system design activities, responsible for test and/or integration of COTS-based electromechanical systems from the system design phase through development, documentation, installation and commissioning of the completed system
* Understand and adhere to drawing requirements for production builds
* Maintains and has the aptitude in using test equipment for trouble shooting
* May build customer intimacy through job assignments related system/product acceptance testing or hands-on user training
* Ability to travel up to 15%
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 4 years prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/ Associates Degree and a minimum of 8 years of prior related experience
* An active DoD Top Secret/SCI security clearance
Preferred Additional Skills:
* Ability to travel up to 20%
* Able to work in a small team environment with minimal oversight
* Ability to multitask effectively and complete basic tasks beyond title specific responsibilities
* Hands-on experience with hardware integration
* Excellent communication skills
* Excellent organizational and record keeping skills
* Knowledge of inventory and database management
* Technical experience. (SATCOM preferred)
