Job Description
Responsible for Material Planning and Production Control functions for both engineering development and production programs. Plan inventory levels and shop floor order releases based on program requirements. Candidate must demonstrate knowledge of manual and automated Material Requirement Planning (MRP) tools, and material distribution or work order release using time-phased concepts. Tasks associated with the Production Control function include but are not limited to development of master production schedule, analyzing material positions, releasing work orders and material through production per the schedule requirements, analyzing work-in-process (WIP) to evaluate program position, set material priorities with Functional and Line Managers to ensure adherence to the Master Production Schedule, prepare reports and status manufacturing progress within an Integrated Product Team (IPT) atmosphere as well as participating in various factory meetings, and review contract requirements for end-item deliveries while generating the request for shipping documentation.
Required Skills:
* Minimum 0 years experience working in a Manufacturing/Production Control environment with a Bachelor's degree.
* Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
* Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
* Organized with the ability to plan and coordinate multiple tasks
* Able to communicate within a cross-functional team environment
* Able to recognize and resolve problems
* U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position may need a U.S. Security Clearance
