Raytheon Missiles and Defense (RMD) has an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Contract Negotiator/Contract Manager to lead and be responsible for the negotiating, management and administration of a Domestic AN/TPY-2 Radar within the Strategic Missile Defense (SMD) Mission Area. In this role, youll be integrated as part of the program team and will support all aspects of various capture and execution activities. The position will be well suited for a highly motivated individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
Your responsibilities will include developing strong internal and external customer relationships and providing creative approaches to addressing business needs. The successful candidate will provide Government contracts administration and management support in the following key focus areas: proposing, negotiating, administering contract change orders, customer correspondence, interface with internal and external customers on contractual matters, flow down of contractual requirements to performing organizations.
This position may be for a Sr. Contracts Negotiator or a Contract Manager depending on the applicants skills and qualifications.
This position may be located in Woburn, MA or remotely. Travel will be required to Woburn, MA and Andover, MA if working remotely or at a different location.
U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance within one year
Examples of these skills and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Effectively manage the contract and terms and conditions to ensure work is performed to the overall contract scope
* Support and interface with external customers and internal functional organizations (Finance, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Pricing) in the daily administration and proposal process
* Collaborate with multiple functions of an integrated team to develop solutions to complex program and contractual issues
* Draft and submit contractual letters based on the scenario after receiving approval from Program Management
* Provide strategic leadership to develop innovative contracting solutions to meet program and business area objectives
* Brief senior organizational leaders regarding contractual and business issues
* Take leadership in contract closeout and coordination with DCMA on related activities
Minimum Qualifications:
* 6 years of applicable work experience in Contracts, Subcontracts, Supply Chain, Legal, EXIM, Program Management or similar field
* BS/BA in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Business Management, Contract Administration, Supply Chain Management, International Relations, Economics, Business Law or any major related to this job description
* U.S. Citizenship is required
* Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance

* Experience researching compliance issues, applicable regulations and law (FAR/DFAR), and formulating recommendations to management
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral)
