Job Description:

As a senior member of our Infrastructure Management Project Execution team, you will draw on your organizational skills and process management strengths to manage technology projects that span multiple lines of business and have firm-wide implications. You will lead these projects from initiation through implementation, including: establishing project requirements, priorities and deadlines; ensuring that relevant architecture requirements are in place; ensuring timely ordering and delivery of systems; managing risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle. In addition to collaborating with your teammates, you will communicate with stakeholders and partners across the firm to work toward the best possible outcomes. Senior Project Managers are expected to be leaders within the team and set the example for junior colleagues by taking advantage of opportunities to work beyond normal duties and building relationships across the organization. Responsibilities

* Manage cross-tower infrastructure projects that are high impact/high value to the organization
* Work with the application development and engineering teams to formalize requirements into measurable deliverables
* Identify, analyze, and manage project risks, issues, and benefits and make relevant recommendations to the business and technology leadership team
* Develop processes and tools that encourage continuous performance improvements and adoption of agile methodologies
* Provide clear project and executive-level status reporting
* Ensure projects are completed in accordance with all infrastructure, security, risk, architecture, and other relevant firm-wide guidelines
* Lead and actively participate in geographically distributed and culturally diverse work-groups
* Establish and maintain effective working relationships across contributing teams, various LOBs, senior technology management, business management, program sponsors, vendors, and business clients
* Act as a communication channel for ongoing program management status and issues, and setting business expectations
* Interact at high levels with clients and decision-makers both internally and externally.
* Proactively work with other Project Managers to identify and resolve issues that would present a risk to on-time implementation of programs or projects
* Ensure consistent use of firm-wide tools, processes and enterprise PMO best practices
* Coach and mentor less experienced team members, partner with senior team members, promote effective teamwork and support management related initiatives

Qualifications

* BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
* 8 years relevant IT Program/Project Management experience
* Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
* Experience leading strategic initiatives and mentoring junior colleagues
* Knowledge of global and line of business project management best practices and methodologies
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
* High level skills in MS Office: Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point, MS Project
* Flexible, process-oriented, organized, with excellent analytical & troubleshooting skills
* Experience and working knowledge of technology infrastructure systems and solutions including Networking, SAN, NAS, Backup, Windows, Unix (Linux /AIX), LDAP/AD, Cloud Platforms and Virtualization (mainframe a plus)
* Proven ability to make complex decisions based on experience, analysis and judgment
* Ability to positively influence people at a variety of levels; both internally and externally
* Experience in managing stakeholder interaction and vendor resources
* Ability to work across teams to solve difficult, complex issues and drive timely resolution
* Ability to collaborate with high-performing teams and individuals throughout the firm to accomplish common goals
* Experience interacting with senior management
* Quality assurance and process improvement experience, such as policy and process development
* Experience with any of the following is a plus: SharePoint, Visio, Confluence, QlikView
* Experience in Identity Access Management is a plus
* Experience of financial services is a plus
