We are searching for a CPU Architecture Competitive Analyst in the Competitive Strategy Team of the Corporate Strategy Office.

The successful candidate will be responsible for tracking key industry competitive architecture ecosystems including x86, ARM, RISC-V.

You will partner with experts across the company to develop an evergreen and comprehensive competitive assessment of architecture roadmaps, licensees, business models, supporting software ecosystem and financials.

You will be responsible for synthesizing insights from this assessment to inform strategic decisions for Intel in the 2-3 year horizon including long term architecture direction, SW investments, industry partnerships, and business models to ensure continued competitiveness of Intel Architecture solutions vs. industry alternatives.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum qualifications:

* Bs degree in Electrical engineering, Computer Engineering or related field.

* 5+ years of experience in computer architecture (Technical or Business roles).

* 2+ years of experience in a related role, including:

* Strong familiarity with competitive ISAs like x86, ARM, RISC-V.

* Good understanding of competitive ISA business models, SW ecosystem and licensees.

* Familiarity with industry competitive dynamics across different architectures.

* Experience doing market and competitive intelligence research

* Experience developing analytical business models to influence business decisions

Preferred qualifications:

* MBA degree

In addition, the ideal candidate must also have:

* Strong written and verbal communication skills to communicate analyses and recommendations.

* Strong executive presence and ability to create impactful executive communications.

The Corporate Strategy Office is chartered to support the executive office in driving corporate initiatives, including near and long-term strategy, major cross-group decision making and ensuring cross-company alignment. To deliver to that mission, the team owns shaping, driving and synthesizing insights to directionally orient trends as well as long range strategic planning/visioning , cross company alignment and greenfield innovation. Communications are essential to drive alignment so there is a focus on communications, community and acumen development. The team is ccommitted to ensuring that Intel efforts are aligned to, and actively driving success toward the most impactful business strategies.
