Sr Product Manager: Ads Guidance

Ads Guidance & Intelligence group within eBay Advertising is building out best in class scalable Ads Guidance and Intelligence Platform. It caters to key needs of our customers around seller guidance, pricing intelligence and actionable insights on performance and delivery of advertising products.

Role Description / Key Responsibilities

* Articulate, define and own the product roadmap for the Ads Guidance & Intelligence team

* Define key objectives, metrics and success criteria to guide and prioritize data science projects.

* Partner cross functionally with Ads data science, engineering, interfaces and other domain teams

* Identify and prioritize key product requirements from the platform across internal Ads teams

* Partner with cross functional teams to ensure coherent product strategy and roadmap execution

* Partner with designers and iterate on the most powerful user experience surfacing guidance and pricing intelligence and help drive seller adoption

* Articulate and present early product concepts to full launch plans to Ads teams and executives.

Minimum Qualifications:

* 5+ Years of Product Management experience

* Proven track record of driving from ideation to launch of impactful data science products

* Experience working in recommendation systems and pricing intelligence products

* Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to influence across functions.

* Effective in data driven decision making, strong bias for action and get it done attitude.

* Strong problem solving analytical skills, comfort with navigating ambiguity and making tradeoffs

* Bachelors degree, MS/MBA preferred (but not necessary).

Preferred Qualifications:

* Technical or Engineering background with solid quantitative skills

* Experience and familiarity with CPC, CPA advertising sponsored products and auction systems.

* Experience working with reporting tools and interfaces to surface data science recommendations

* Experience with large data sets and distributed computing such as Hive/Hadoop

* Knowledge of the digital advertising and e-commerce ecosystem
