Production Control Leader
Description
We are looking for a talented Production Control Leader to join our team specializing in supply chain planning for our Engine business unit in Rocky Mount, NC.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
* Responsible and accountable to meet customer demand requirement with realistic production and supply plans
* Responsible and accountable to deliver production plan review and drive associated actions across functions
* Develop demand trend by customer, challenge and respond to abnormal demand pattern and partner with sales and marketing to drive forecast improvement across all accounts
* Maintain integrity of the supply plan and take corrective actions promptly to ensure supply plan stability; escalate as appropriate.
* Responsible and accountable to deliver schedule adherence KPI, inventory optimization, committed managed expense plans.
* Collaborates with other functional teams to ensure customers expectations and requirements are met.
* Lead continuous improvement projects that align with Cummins Operating System and Functional Excellence direction and leverage common processes tools, and information systems.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
* B.S or BA in applicable field, MBA preferred
* Experience leading efforts associated with the creation and management of the Master Production Schedule to ensure demand and supply plans are balanced at all times.
* Ability to develop strategies for adapting variances to the plan.
* Ensure product is offered to support customer demand by managing capacity constraints to meet target lead times.
* Develop effective tools and processes to manage production schedules, ensuring these are achievable at all times, based on demonstrated capacity and material availability, to best meet customer demand.
* Act as the primary liaison between Materials, Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, OMCS, Marketing & Sales and other functional areas.Create and maintains a capacity requirement plan that supports the master schedule.Plan, prepare, maintain and report on performance of the Master Schedule.
* Create common supply chain processes and procedures by establishing collaborative business partner relationships.
* Experience with daily problem solving and continuous improvement opportunities strategically and tactically to achieve performance targets.
* Ability to develop, understand and improve necessary Key Performance Indicators.Analyze operational trends and develop corrective action plans.
* Address supply chain failures promptly to ensure operations stability; escalate as appropriate.

Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
