The Experience:

This Team Leader will be responsible for leading the multiple professional verticals (B2B, Office,Institutions, etc) to deliver strong sales growth while partnering with the Colgate Palmolive eCommerce, Digital Center of Excellence teams, and Supply Chain. This role will be critical to help develop and grow the CP professional business (Net Sales and Margin). The Team Leader will build gold standard customer engagement across all verticals while developing and spearheading customer scorecards and develop and execute RE specific brand strategies and knowledge into plans that deliver our financial and net sales objectives.

* Manage direct report(s) and work well in a cross-functional team to achieve our goals.

* Lead the Professional and B2B ecommerce business by setting a strategic direction & partnering with CP cross-functional teams to deliver P&L goals, and deliver KPIs. The Professional Business is extremely complex with multiple verticals and a holistic approach is needed to grow the business and manage the varying portfolios.
* Develop strategic plans and P&Ls that maximize margin and net sales. Own the Professional P&L and the monthly CBPs. Lead the translation of top - down customer targets into long term bottom up customer plans, incorporating customers' objectives and creating joint, win-win customer plans while managing the P&L. Penetration into specific verticals creating visibility into areas of profitable growth .
* Provide leadership and guidance to direct report(s) and cross-functional team members to deliver P&L and other KPIs. Encourage a team approach across all functional areas involved developing the Professional portfolio
* Ensure that all CP Customer Development fundamentals are optimized. Develop customer investment strategy, consistent with the developed specific RE strategy.
* Strengthen relationship and engagement with key customers. Conduct JBPs, Quarterly Reviews & regular touch-base meetings to continue to grow the business. Partner with CPs eCommerce Center of Excellence.
* Works with CPs Supply Chain to ensure back room KPIs are met.
* Ensure systematic post evaluation of 5P fundamentals (thru Direct Reports and Trace Data ) & develop detailed understanding of the effectiveness of different investment levers . Use results & findings to refine future plans. Consider: sales lift, return on investment, cannibalization effects, forward buying and all other relevant metrics. Communicate findings to the commercial team.
* Uncover eCommerce and Professional RE insights, analytics and other market & customer information to build CPs knowledge and RE specific portfolio to create recommendations based on key learnings. Leverage Precision Marketing data and insights to identify opportunities to drive sustainable long term profitable growth.
* Develop people to maximize career advancement while promoting and encouraging the use of data and analytics.

What you'll need:

* Bachelor's Degree required
* At least 15 years sales sales roles or adjacent experiences required
* Experience working in consumer product goods preferred
* Microsoft Office or Google Suite proficiency (i.e, Sheets, Slides, Docs) preferre
