Boeing Seattle is seeking a Business Advisor to join our Digital Content Modernization Team, DCM. Help integrate various content and product support functions with the intent to modernize existing training. Be a part of building the training support structure that enables our customers to safely fly, maintain, and provide cabin services well into the future. This is a level 4 position located in Seattle, WA.
Oversees product benchmarks (i.e., directs the staff and identifies focus areas). Plans and follows up the activities. Interacts with stakeholders and collects feedback to be brought into the technical work. Identifies tangible and nontangible benefits and compiles this information into key performance indicators. Presents the results to the team, business entities and broad organization. Oversees, plans, and executes business consulting studies. Oversees workshops with the stakeholders to investigate and anchor the results. Analyzes processes and organization around crew planning and proposes improvements. Responsible for demonstrating products and solutions. Demonstrates technical system abilities and the benefits of the systems. Provides other business consulting services as required. Identifies opportunities for the responsible sales organization to provide business consulting services. Oversees technical system health assessment and optimizations for current deployed solutions.
Position Responsibilities:
* Dedicated support for the Learning Design Team, LDT, in Seattle Washington and globally.
* Identify, document, and lead efforts in establishing the requirements and Statements of Work for unique projects performed by LDT/DCM teams.
* Lead proposal activities such as developing the Basis of Estimate (BOE), Statements of Work (SOW), documenting requirements, ground rules, risks and assumptions, and participating in face-to-face negotiations.
* Create professional presentations and deliver to audiences up and down the organization and across the business and a variety of leadership audiences
* Address emergent work and support Program Management Reviews, After Action Reviews and other status reporting or requests.
* Will perform some Content Support Analysis and/or Provisioning tasks.
(Required Education, Skills and Experience)
* Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).
* Working knowledge of Training systems, content types such as Computer Based Training, CBT, Video, Animation, Computer Generated Imagery, CGI, and other training media types.
* Experience with Microsoft Office
* Experience with implementing Program Management Best Practices

(Preferred Skills / Qualifications)
* Minimum 6-8 years experience in a training development or training focused organization.
* Knowledge of techniques to help identify a customer's organization, capabilities, practices, support resources, preferences, problems, and other constraints in order to provide effective product support and technical issue resolution.
* Experience as a process/product analyst with an end result of providing viable solutions in a dynamic, team driven organization.
* Accreditation or certificate in Program Management Best Practices, PMBP.
* Experience in business forecasting and development of mature business plans, identifying roles, personnel and resources needed to successfully execute on time and on budget.
Relocation:
This position is located in a location that does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
Travel:
Occasional travel (15%) may be required in support of the program and customer.
