The platform team has a focus on the systems that power Apples interactive marketing properties. We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Technical Program Manager to work on multiple large scale, complex, and cross-functional programs. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the programs for the release and dev ops team supporting www.apple.com. We use the latest in open source technologies and continue to evolve and deliver solutions on a worldwide scale. Working with a variety of multi-functional teams, we bring it all together to deliver the interactive experiences with an excellent group of software engineers while having fun along the way. You will join this team of Infrastructure, Application, and Security specialists who support the interactive applications development teams. You would closely work with stakeholders for planning, defining systems work scope, communication and coordination.

* 10+ years of IT work experience, including 4+ years running projects
* Experience working with high availability 24/7 environments and incident management
* Experience in a few of the following technologies is a requirement and exposure to other technologies is a plus: Docker, Cloud and on-premise virtualization, Kubernetes, Familiarity with version control systems such as Git and Subversion, Networking fundamentals, DNS, routing
* Have experience with large scale, highly available, distributed infrastructure
* Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of SaaS, PaaS, IaaS and the public cloud ecosystem
* Have good understanding of monitoring, logging and metrics tools and their value to the business
* Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills across functions, lines of business, and infrastructure domains (Systems Engineering, Release Engineering, WWSRE, Release Operations & Platform teams)
* Ability to understand business needs, articulate trade-offs, and discuss solutions with both business and Engineering teams
* Ability to bring technical process management to a very ambiguous environment
* Ability to juggle multiple projects within a fast paced environment and change priorities rapidly as required by the business
* Extensive knowledge and expertise in the use of Project Management methodologies and tools, including Agile with a focus on infrastructure project delivery in support of infrastructure roadmaps

Lead a portfolio of projects across the DevOps and Release teams Review and analyze requests from business users in order to prioritize work for the team and develop a clear roadmap Drive assigned projects and take ownership for their success with a focus on project delivery, quality, and business outcomes Develop accurate project timelines and resource estimates as part of the project planning process Lead project management for the DevOps program monitoring and reporting on project progress, issues, risks, and results to stakeholders and team members Build and maintain strong relationships beyond the development team to work effectively with technical and non-technical business partners Analyze and resolve production issues working independently or with the support of the development team Partner with IT infrastructure, network, and security organizations to track specific details of tactical work for the Marcom Interactive organization Partner with Engineering and IT team members to set up and lead integration environments for various systems and components Communicate business impacts to tech and non-technical partners

BS/BA degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or related field. Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) or ITIL preferred
