The Siri Data Organization improves Siri by using data as the voice of our customers. Within this organization the mission of the Analytics team is to inform the evolution of Siri through measurement and analysis of the user experience. Part of this mission is achieved through experimentation; as the manager of Experimentation Methods, this role will help to develop and evolve the A/B infrastructure, analytics, and core methods from the ground up.

* Experience building experimentation systems (not just running experiments) - you dont need to have written production code, but you need a strong understanding of how these systems are engineered so you can partner effectively with Experimentation Platform Engineering and drive requirements that influence the platform roadmap.
* You have at least 5 years of industry experience, and youve managed teams for at least 2 - ideally, even scaled a team from an early stage.
* Expertise in causality (experimentation, econometrics, and general statistical modeling), and have knowledge of how to leverage these skills to solve complex business problems.
* Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and the ability to explain technical topics (especially causal inference) to data scientists, engineers, and business partners.
* Ability to stay focused and prioritize competing demands while achieving exceptional quality
* History of building and managing cross-functional partnerships
* Innovative, collaborative, and product focused

The Siri Data Organization is seeking a talented Data Science Manager to lead a team dedicated to Experimentation (A/B) methods! You will: - Lead a currently small but growing team of scientists focused on scalable experimentation methods - together youll build systems, methods, and tools to handle large volumes of experiments at a time! - Drive a roadmap for the development and iteration of Siri Assistants experimentation methods. - Partner with Apples Experimentation Platform Engineering team to integrate the platform with the Siri Assistant - the Experimentation Methods team will not write production code, but they will collaborate on requirements and how parts of the system function (e.g., logging, allocation, etc.). - Socialize experimentation across the organization, ensuring good practice and processes are in place to ensure fruitful product development.

Education & Experience
Statistics, Cognitive Science, Economics, Sociology, or other quantitative fields. Prefer advanced degree.
