Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Sr. Principal Flight Test amp; Operations Maintenance Lead. This position will be located at Vandenberg AFB, with some travel to Roy and Promontory, Utah, and will support the Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) program. What You rsquo;ll Get To Do:
bull;Maintenance Team lead for ICBM Flight Test execution for the GBSD program at VAFB
bull;Support operations and maintenance of special vehicles, ground support equipment, launch support system, life support equipment and provide daily leadership for the Maintenance Teams
bull;You will develop, plan, and support all flight and ground test activities and ensure compliance with all safety and security measures associated with launch operations
bull;Candidate will author maintenance plans and ensure readiness of all support equipment and personnel for successful launch operations.
bull;Develop inspection processes, plans, participate in the inspections, and author reports
bull;Develop and execute with the System Test Team and the customer, support for ground and flight test operations.
bull;Collaborate with other IPTs to define test hardware needs and support requirements for test activities at VAFB
bull;Produce test conops flows that maximizes the utility of test resources while meeting the stringent schedule and technical requirements.
bull;Ensure compliance of technical orders, safety, environmental protection and nuclear surety standards for ground and flight operations
bull;Enjoy a fast paced work environment with high expectations for success
bull;Be the focal point for trouble shooting of ground support equipment and systems
bull;Interact with the customer and program leadership to define and maintain the facilities and support hardware operations
bull;Able to effectively communicate and present to project and program management, other technical managers, technical peers and customers.

This position rsquo;s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
Qualification
Job Qualifications:
You rsquo;ll Bring These Qualifications:
bull;Bachelors and at least 9 years of systems test experience; or a Master rsquo;s and at least 7 years of systems test experience; or a PhD and at least 4 years of systems test experience. 4 years of experience may be substituted in lieu of the required degree
bull;US Citizenship with an Active Secret Clearance or higher (awarded within the past 5 years)

bull;Strong facilities maintenance and operations and maintenance of ICBM support equipment, vehicles, and launch operations equipment
bull;MS Office tools and Project Management experience
bull;ICBM Flight Test Experience
bull;Excellent communication and organizational skills; strong interpersonal and analytic skills; works well in a team environment within all levels of the test integrated team structure
bull;QA Experience working with ICBM or like type missile systems
bull;Tech Engineering background for Troubleshooting of Missile based systems
