Northrop Grumman Space Systems Sector is looking for youto join our team as a Software Engineer/ Principal Software Engineer based outof Aurora, CO.

What Youll get to Do:

We need a Java software developer who wants to work on an agile developmentteam using a modern development stack. You will be working on mostly new development for a micro-service eventdriven architecture using Docker Containers, Kubernetes, and AWS services. You will also be required to perform maintenanceand sustainment engineering for existing baselines.

Our small agile Scrum team is highly energized and has a significant softwareeffort on a growing program with a large program impact. If this is your type of environment and youlove fast-paced software development, please consider joining our team.

Qualification

This requisition may be filled ateither a Software Engineer/ Principal Software Engineer

Basic Qualifications:

For a Software Engineer: Bachelors degree in Computer Science or otherSTEM related degree with 2 + years of software development experience; 0 yearswith a Master's; or 6 years of software development experience in lieu of adegree.

For a Principal Engineer Software: Bachelors degree in Computer Science or other STEM related degree with5 + years of software development experience; 3 years with a Master's; 0 yearswith a PhD; or 9 years of software development experience in lieu of a degree.

Experience with Agile softwaredevelopment using Java and/or C++ software development in a Red Hat EnterpriseLinux environment
Knowledge of object oriented design
Knowledge of software lifecycles
Experience with version control software
Active Top Secret/SCI clearance or higher (required to start)

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Bash scripting

Knowledge of Object Oriented Design

Experience with supportingoperational systems

Experience with supportingdistributed systems

Experience in developing andsupporting multi-threaded applications

Experience with working inVirtualized Environments (VMs, AWS Cloud Instances)

Experience with Atlassian tools(JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket)

Experience with AWSDevelopment/Deployment

Experience with Dockerization andContiner Management (Dockers and Kubernetes)

Active TS/SCI /w Poly security clearance

Salary range for a SoftwareEngineer: $77,952-$116-928

Salary range for a Principal SoftwareEngineer: $96, 600-$144,900
