The GBSD program is seeking a Senior Principal Electrical Systems Engineer. The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman rsquo;s Space System team supporting the Air Force rsquo;s Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) program, working as part of the Re-Entry System team.

This position will be located in Roy, UT and will support the Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) program. Learn more about the GBSD program here.

This position requires travel up to 10% of the time.

What You rsquo;ll Get To Do:

Duties will include evaluation of electronic designs, testing, analysis, integration, and team mentorship. Technical expertise, technical communication ability, and general knowledge of related disciplines is required.

The successful applicant will:

* Determine tasking for their self and others with minimal oversight
* Understand and apply system requirements
* Assist in all phases of the system lifecycle including requirements application, design, test, fabrication, and implementation
* Evaluate electrical hardware performance
* Perform model validation through test and analysis
* Conduct testing through all phases
* Maintain design documentation and follow configuration management requirements
* Create technical reports and present technical information
* Lead and mentor team members
* Assist in planning and scheduling activities
* Interface with AF Customer

This position rsquo;s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

Job Qualifications:

You rsquo;ll Bring These Qualifications:

* Bachelor rsquo;s of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM(Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) discipline and 9 years of related experience, Master rsquo;s of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering or STEM(Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) discipline and 7 years of related experience; or PhD and 4 years of related experience
* Active Secret Clearance

These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have:

* 5 or more years of Aerospace experience, preferably with ICBM Weapon Systems
* Experience with SPICE
* Experience with TeamCenter/NX
* Experience with VHDL/FPGA/ASIC design
* Experience with Nuclear Certified Design
* Experience with Agile
* Experience with Cable/Harness Design
* Experience with DOORS
