Overview:
Citis Agency Securities Lending business offers a range of traditional and alternative lending structures across 74 markets, 24 hours a day, with $1.5Tn in lendable assets.
The business is looking for a high performing person who will be responsible for coordinating the daily activity within the international agency lending team. The candidate will manage a broad range of activity while gaining valuable market experience across US and international securities and trade lifecycle management. This is a role that will allow a candidate to continue to advance their career by giving them opportunities to work on projects, grown their understanding of the business and gain exposure to senior management.
Responsibilities:
* Coordinate the flow of information across the team to provide a seamless service
* Point of contract for problem escalation from brokers, custodians, traders and clients.
* Work closely with our internal partners on system and process improvement.
* Help manage a seamless follow-the-sun model.
* Collateralize new cash and non-cash loans plus maintain the appropriate collateralization, according to current market pricing, throughout the life of the loan.
* Book return request plus respond to correspondences on pre-matching details and or fails reasons.
* Corresponding with international market agents to get trade status updates, market settlement confirmation and to resolve trade settlement breaks.
* Process incoming/outgoing payments via DTC or fed wire.
Qualifications:
* 3+ years securities experience or work equivalent experience.
* Bachelors degree in finance, business admin, or other related field.
* Point of contact coordination experience will be a plus.
* Must have relevant experience in trade processing.
* Ability to work in a fast paced, demanding environment.
* Ability to prioritize demands and maintain strict attention to detail.
* Deep dive into problems and clearly communicate the essence of pressing issues.
* Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
