Job Description

GDIT Technology Shared Services is looking for a competent Project/Task Manager who will support programs and internal IT projects. In this position, the candidate provides technical, administrative expertise to assigned project or task(s);reviews status of projects and budgets develop and manage schedules, and prepares status reports; assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. The candidate will also beresponsible for scope, cost, schedule, and performance of assigned project or task(s) as well as the resources required to perform assigned project or task(s).

Required Qualifications

5+ years of project management experience

BS/BA or relevant experience

Experience with technical, administration of assigned project or tasks - including contract and subcontractor management.

Strong skills with Microsoft Applications (MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint)
Experience developing project schedules in MS Project

Experience with managing risks and mitigations

Experience with coordinating deliverables
Strong communication skills

Desired Qualifications

PMP Certification highly desired

have the ability to obtain a security clearance
