Job Description
GDIT has an immediate need for a systems engineer (SE) with the following responsibilities:
* Manage the workflow of a dataset from source to downstream system, including transport, access controls, data management, conditioning, test and production.
* Define use cases for a dataset and identify the source/destination.
* Work with teams to create metadata record.
* Work with data provider and systems to create access control policies.
* If applicable, work with conditioning teams to determine best path and ultimate destination.
* Establish and maintain strong working relationships with all stakeholders, including internal teams and external mission partners.
The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:
* A working knowledge of agency information systems
* An ability to understand technical details and the skill to communicate them to a non-technical audience
* Detail oriented
* Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects
