Job Description
POSITION OVERVIEW:
Responsible for providing vendor management and oversight for new and existing facility programs/projects in compliance with contracts, company policies, procedures and objectives to support FedEx Freight.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Oversee multi-site, regional or national facility programs/projects to ensure company needs are met in terms of availability, delivery, total cost of ownership and contractual performance
2. Ensure timely payment of invoices and establish processes to eliminate re-occurring invoice exceptions
3. Analyze repair and maintenance cost trends to identify saving opportunities, repair frequencies and other pertinent data in order to support and make recommendations
4. Collaborate with internal departments such as Sourcing and Legal as well as cross operations companies, to execute and administer contracts
5. Develop action plans based on program/project objectives and analysis
6. Coordinate with other team members to develop standardized scopes of work for common facility services such as janitorial, heating ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC), snow removal, pest control, etc
7. Develop and maintain departmental policies, procedures, processes and systems related to all aspects of Facility Solutions Administration
8. Support special projects and ad hoc departmental and enterprise initiatives as needed
9. Mentor Facility Solutions Administrative Representatives.
10. Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures
11. Perform other duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience plus two (2) year of facility management, sourcing, capital planning, forecasting or related experience
Project management skills
Vendor management skills
Good analytical skills
Good time management, organizational and interpersonal skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Experience and ability to use Microsoft Office Software, including but not limited to, Word, Excel, and Outlook
Ability to work independently and as a team member
